Training for care is a conversation!
All companion animals will need husbandry and care handling at some point in their life, whether it is brushing, bathing, walking equipment, medication, or injury treatment. And many of these interactions are scary or uncomfortable for our animals, because we can't tell them that we mean them well! This module will walk you through two methods our certified trainers use to train animals to voluntarily participate in necessary handling. It also contains many tips and tricks for smoothing out common handling challenges!

NOTE: It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you and your learner have a basic understanding of clicker training BEFORE enrolling in this course. Consider our "Clicker Training 101" webinar, or enrolling in a group class or private training first to get practice on the mechanics and the basics 😉
